Which roles qualify

The route covers doctors, nurses, midwives, paramedics, radiographers, dentists, pharmacists, social workers and a defined list of care roles. Your employer must be a licensed sponsor, and for care roles must be CQC registered.

The list of eligible occupations changes. Send us the job title and we will confirm whether it is on it.

A care worker with a resident in a UK care home - the Health and Care Worker Visa is the entry route for eligible NHS, social care and adjacent roles.

If your sponsor loses its licence. Your permission is tied to that sponsor. You normally have 60 days to find a new sponsored role or leave. Call us the day you hear - not the week before the deadline.
