Georgette Thomas
Principal Solicitor · LLB (Hons) Liverpool, MA Manchester
Georgette is a founding partner of the practice and has helped build Compass into a well-regarded firm in immigration, asylum, human rights and nationality law since 2011. She is trained as both a solicitor and a barrister, and has over eighteen years in this area of law.
She leads the appeals department, which takes the most complex cases - often ones that have already been through the process elsewhere and been refused. Her dual training gives her an unusual vantage point when preparing an appeal, and she represents clients with determination.
Georgette also acts for employers, and looks for practical ways through sponsor licence applications and Skilled Worker visas so that businesses and the people they hire can get on with it. Away from the practice she cooks, eats well, and makes time for fitness.
Works on:appeals and refusals ·sponsor licences ·Skilled Worker ·Health & Care Worker
