Georgette

Georgette Thomas is the Principal Solicitor at Compass Immigration Law. Georgette is trained as both a Solicitor and Barrister.
She is a founding partner of the practice and has helped develop Compass Immigration Law into a well-respected law practice in the field of Immigration, Asylum and Human Rights, since its inception in 2011.
Georgette has extensive experience in immigration, asylum, human rights and nationality law. She has over 18 years’ experience in this area of law.
Georgette currently oversees and leads the Appeals Department. This department deals with the most complex of cases, which often have already been through the initial process elsewhere but have been unsuccessful. Her dual training as a Solicitor and Barrister gives her a unique perspective when preparing appeals. She represents her clients with passion and determination.
Georgette has a keen interest in helping businesses and workers thrive in the UK and finds practical and pragmatic ways when dealing with Sponsorship License Applications and Skilled Worker visas.
When not at the Practice, Georgette enjoys eating and cooking amazing food, but makes time for fitness too!
Dipendra
With a career spanning over a decade, Dipendra is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of UK immigration law.
Dipendra embarked on his journey in the legal field with an unwavering commitment to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. In 2007, he graduated with a degree in law, laying the foundation for a career in immigration law. It was in the same year that Dipendra began a professional journey as an immigration caseworker, delving into all aspects of UK immigration law.
Recognizing the dynamic nature of immigration law, Dipendra embarked on a path of continuous growth and development. In 2011, he successfully completed his postgraduate legal studies, further enriching his knowledge and honing his expertise. That same year, Dipendra took a significant step forward by helping to establish Compass Immigration Law Ltd, an endeavour reflecting a dedication to providing exceptional immigration services.
Dipendra’s career continued to flourish as he advanced to the role of a Senior Immigration Caseworker in 2013. This pivotal step allowed him to take on greater responsibilities and serve as a guiding light for those seeking immigration solutions. In 2019, Dipendra reached another milestone in his career by becoming a Supervising Immigration Caseworker, reinforcing a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in practice.
Throughout his career, Dipendra has developed a particular affinity for partner-based visa applications, indefinite leave to remain applications and citizenship applications. These areas of immigration law are where he finds immense satisfaction in helping individuals unite with their loved ones or become citizens of the UK.
While his professional life keeps him immersed in the intricacies of immigration law, Dipendra’s personal life is a vibrant tapestry of adventure and physical challenges. In his spare time, he thrives on pushing his limits through activities such as Tough Mudder, skiing, climbing, and hiking. These pursuits not only keep him physically fit but also mirror his approach to overcoming obstacles – with determination, resilience, and a zest for new experiences.

Tirza
Tirza is a dynamic professional with over 10 years of experience orchestrating general and compliance operations, she is always on the lookout for ways to drive workflow efficiency and boost company success.
Tirza joined Compass in September 2015 as an Assistant Immigration Consultant and was promoted to Practice Manager in January 2020.
Tirza’s passion lies in implementing and enforcing non-discriminatory policies, processes and procedures that comply with industry standards and guidelines. She is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Health & Safety, strictly complying with company policies while contributing to collective safety objectives.
At heart, Tirza is all about forward thinking and delivering exceptional, client-centric services to ensure the utmost satisfaction. Her main areas of responsibilities are Management of Administrative and Support Staff, Health & Safety, Supplier Management, Client Retention, Accounts, Account Closures, Debt Recovery and Building & Facilities management.
Tirza is an animal lover and enjoys taking her 11-year-old dog on his walks. She is a lifelong student and enjoys learning new skills to expand her knowledge.
